Ark of Light Brings Food, Joy, and Essential Supplies to Over 1,000 Families in Lagos
On the 18th of December, 2023, The Ark of Light Food and Emergency Bank opened its pantry doors for a day of giving and festivities at 11c Kudirat Abiola Way, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos.
The event successfully provided over 1,000 less privileged families with essential items such as staple food, clothes, toys, and other necessities.
The day was not just about receiving aid; the Food bank created a welcoming atmosphere filled with vibrant music to uplift spirits. Delicious cooked food and drinks were also available, bringing nourishment and smiles to the attendees.
This incredible act of kindness and generosity is attributed to the founder, Dr. Isaiah Macwealth. His unwavering passion for supporting the less privileged in Nigeria shines brightly through this initiative. The outpouring of support on this memorable day underscores the importance of community and the transformative power of compassion.
Less privileged families were given enough food items to last a whole month. They were so grateful and voices their appreciation and joy through singing and dancing.
We were so inspired by the impact made on these families and are resolved to ensure that we keep putting smiles on faces of those in need in our communities.
Special thanks to our Volunteers for their service and incredible donors for their financial support. Nothing we do is possible without your support and Collaboration.
You too can join in the fight against hunger by lending a helping hand either by Volunteering or donating to feed those who are hunger among us.
It’s a fight that requires Collaborative effort. Together we can change our world, one family at a time.
